He used to squat beside me when I was doing homework, but whenever I couldn't work out some problems, I would kick him away. This lasted for about two years. When I became a senior high school student, I often came back home very late in the evening. Jackie, who had grown stronger and bigger, became a necessary and good companion to me. He always waited for me somewhere on my way back home, and ran to me quickly at my calling"Jackie". He walked beside me like a faithful guard. I was moved by his generous love, and was ashamed of my cruel behavior towards him.
