MC Hammer善用音樂(lè)錄像形式來(lái)表現(xiàn)他的作品，其中融合了令人眩目的舞蹈動(dòng)作、精致的燈光與舞美設(shè)計(jì)。MC Hammer還經(jīng)常把一些大牌明星如Marvin Gaye,B.B King或Prince等人的作品拿來(lái)翻唱。1994年，MC Hammer的專輯《The Funky Headhunter》（瘋克獵頭者）是由Gangsta Rap的制作人來(lái)操刀制作的，其中的音樂(lè)明顯趨于硬朗化，并反映了MC Hammer更多的街頭觀感。
